Celebrating Women in Business

Welcome to EVEnet.  Our network connects business women for mutual benefit, the sharing of best practice, skills development and networking.

Free to join, our members are women business owners and senior managers in corporate firms, self-employed consultants and policy-makers.

We hope to inspire and help you in your careers and business life and hope you can relate to our stories.  It's reassuring to read about real women who have experienced the same challenges as you may be facing. What we all have in common is the desire to encourage and celebrate the achievements of women in business.

Women’s enterprise contributed more than £130 billion to the UK economy in 2009.

Our objectives

Our aim is to help transform the lives of individual women, their families and local communities by supporting those considering self employment or career progression to board level.

This will benefit our country through a greater contribution by women to the economy. We know the UK is missing out on economic benefits through a lack of women in business and crucially, now is the time for women to become our own Agents of Change.

This online resource hub is at the heart of EVEnet, providing business advice, motivation and information.  Our inspirational case studies of ordinary women who are already running companies or participating on boards are designed to encourage others to take action.

EVEnet offers...

  • an online knowledge hub for women seeking to start or grow their own company or attain a senior role in business

  • a business networking club for women which offers opportunities for personal development, business mentoring and networking

  • policy papers and reports about women in business

  • case studies and articles which promote successful business women as role models for others

  • hints and tips on how to achieve that elusive 'work-life' balance
